Sushila Birla Girls' School participated in Daan Utsav from the 20th to 25th of September, promoting social responsibility among students.
On the 20th September, students visited Jiling Sereng village in Purulia, distributing groceries to 85 families and interacting with 45 children from the Sidho Kanho Mission orphanage.
On the 23rd, accompanied by two Special Educators, two Counsellors and three teachers, they donated essentials to 15 homeless women and 30 boys affiliated to the NGO 'SAUJATYA'.
The drive concluded on the 25th, with students of Classes XI and XII, along with Class V students and parents, donating 98 sets of new clothes to underprivileged children through 'A Little Contribution'. 204 sets of new clothes were donated to SHER, an NGO, promoting a drive for underprivileged children of the Sundarban area during the festival days.
